Bone reconstruction in implant dentistry faces challenges like atrophy and defects. This webinar explores the paradigm shift with OsteoBiol® GTO®, highlighting its handling, bone regeneration efficacy, and emerging positive effects on soft tissues via recent studies. Real clinical cases demonstrate predictable, minimally invasive outcomes.
Bone reconstruction remains a major challenge in implant dentistry, particularly in severe atrophy, post-extractive defects, sinus augmentations, or combined horizontal/vertical deficiencies. Traditional methods relying on autologous grafts or less adaptive biomaterials often lead to inconsistent results, donor-site morbidity, prolonged healing, and limited predictability.
This webinar presents a genuine paradigm shift through the innovative use of OsteoBiol® GTO® — a pre-hydrated, sticky, dual-phase xenograft made of collagenated heterologous cortico-cancellous granules blended with TSV Gel. GTO® provides exceptional handling: superior adaptability to defect shapes (syringe delivery, putty-like moldability), immediate stability (often without membranes/screws), excellent blood clot integration due to preserved collagen, and controlled osteoconductive remodeling for predictable bone formation.
Recent studies (2024–2026) are revealing how its collagen-rich formulation positively influences peri-implant soft tissues — enhancing gingival fibroblast proliferation/migration, supporting angiogenesis, and promoting mucosal stability and esthetic outcomes. Through multiple clinical cases, the presentation illustrates how GTO® transforms complex reconstructions into more predictable, minimally invasive, and reproducible procedures.
