Periodontal regeneration: how biomaterials influence treatment efficacy
Today, scientific knowledge highlights how in some periodontal defects, the use of biomaterials, such as bone substitutes and membranes, can improve clinical results.
The goal of this webinar is to demonstrate the modern approach to treating intrabony defects. In some cases, the morphology of the defect itself is highly containment-promoting and easier to manage. In other cases, specifically single- and double-wall defects, it is essential to use biomaterials as bone substitutes and membranes to achieve good clot stability. These biomaterials, if carefully selected, can improve the prognosis of particularly compromised teeth.
