Volumetric changes in immediate post-extraction sites in the esthetic area
The webinar will focus on medium to long term results of post-extraction immediate implant placement and loading in esthetic areas. Clinically significant variables will be outlined and discussed. The esthetic long term result will be the term of comparison for different treatment strategies.
Immediate implant insertion and loading in esthetic areas has always been a controversial approach, mainly due to the multiple under-investigated variables that may affect the finale esthetic result of the entire treatment. During this webinar we will analyse, through the use of a 3D radiographic investigation utilized on a selected patient population, the impact of the most significant variables on the esthetic results. The analysis of soft and hard tissue changes during a medium to long range of follow-up, will provide the clinician useful informations on the ideal 3D implant position to be aimed, in order to anticipate post-extraction alveolar changes. The impact of hard and soft tissue biotype, as well as bone and connective tissue grafting on the treatment outcome will be discussed.
