Volume regeneration in the aesthetic area
The edentulous site in the anterior area needs an accurate treatment plan and the choice for the therapeutic option is based on the preoperative conditions of the bone walls.
Aesthetic outcome in implant dentistry is the balance between the clinic/technical teamwork and the patient intended as anatomical complexity and the patient healing pattern. First step for is always a previsualisation of the bone/soft tissue anatomy together with ideal final restoration. In case of bone deficiencies, the computer guided planning should include the previsualisation of missing volume. This might help to better plan the implant insertion and the surgical procedure, choosing the correct material, the proper membrane and an accurate flap design. The aim of this presentation is to critically analyse all the clinical tips to achieve successful and longitudinally stable hard and soft tissue regeneration starting from post extraction site development to the most challenging bone regeneration in the aesthetic area.
